The Electronics and Communication Engineering department is one among the three departments that were started at the beginning of the college in the year of 2001. The Department offers undergraduate program with an intake of 60 students, and Post graduate program (Specialization - Applied Electronics) introduced in 2010 with an intake of 18 students. State-of-the-art laboratories, a separate department library and highly qualified and well experienced faculty make the department unique.

Besides giving a thorough grounding in basic sciences and engineering subjects, the curriculum in Electronics and Communication Engineering lays greater emphasis on deep understanding of fundamental principles and state of the art knowledge about electronic devices and circuits, computer architecture and microprocessors, VLSI and embedded systems, electromagnetic field theory, analog and digital communication, digital signal processing, microwave and broadband communications.
In addition to the well equipped curriculum related laboratories, the Department has many state of the art facilities for assisting the project works in solid state devices, VLSI, RF Engineering, digital signal processing, image processing and wireless technology.

Electronics and Communication Engineering is a field that involves complex electronic apparatus, circuits and equipments that help in executing speedy and efficient communication systems. These engineers design, fabricate, maintain, supervise and manufacture electronic equipments used in entertainment industry, computer industry, communication and defense.
