The Department of Computer Science has proudly been a pillar of RGCE growth. It’s existence emerged right from the birth of RGCE i.e. from 2001 onwards with an intake of 60 students. The Department has grown rapidly ever since its establishment and has also started the post graduate programme M.E Computer Science and Engineering with an intake of 18 students in 2010. Eminent faculties and strong leadership are the pulse of this department, which makes it to be a proud associate to this college.
Computer science engineering is a discipline that integrates several fields of electrical engineering and computer science required to develop computer hardware and software. Computer engineers are also suited for robotics research, which relies heavily on using digital systems to control and monitor electrical systems like motors, communications and sensors.
